The Story of Mors
In recognising the beauty and durability of old tyre tubes we began our journey in rescuing raw material from landfills and dedicating ourselves to creating elegant products that don’t compromise on style, sustainability or ethics.
Mors bags are made from up-cycled tyre tubes, encouraging uniqueness to every bag we produce. Once the tyre tubes arrive at our studio in Cape Town, they undergo a thorough cleaning process in preparation for the hand-cutting and adapting of this once thought to be defected waste material into creating a ‘treasure’ with true character.
The Mors Design Ethos
Uniting Artistry and Sustainability
We are deeply committed to sustainability and unparalleled craftsmanship. Since our inception in 2015, we’ve championed the art of slow fashion, crafting every piece by hand to ensure each one is unique. We empower skilled local artisans, supporting community growth and preserving age-old techniques, which breathe life and distinctive character into our designs. At Mors, we strive to create timeless pieces that merge artistic integrity with environmental responsibility, offering not just apparel, but a philosophy woven into every garment we design
